Belly on piercing is infected, what can i do!?

ive had it for about for months now. when i went to my hockey practice it fell out and i only noticed when i got home. so i had to put in a different piece of jewlery. but it is now very very red,painfull and itchy. what can i do ? is there any way to heal it ? i have been cleaning it aobut 3 times a day or 2.
