Weaning a baby off a dummy?

I think you should let her keep it being as your moving her into her own room.We moved our little girl at 3 months & we couldn't have done it without a dummy. Yes she's almost 1 now & i can see weaning her from her dummy will be a problem when the time comes, but i never let her have one unless shes tired or we are travelling in the car. This way i limit how much she gets used to a dummy being in her chops. I know a few kids who only just stopped having a dummy at 4yrs old, i think for now only let her have one for nap & bed times.Hide it for the rest of the time.
