What does it mean when someone says I love that you love me? (Never heard this before)?

They normally say I love you too or they tell me they love me. But today they said I love that you love me. What the hell does that mean? My family friend told me that. She is much older than I. But I love her. She is like my best friend. Normally she says I love you Brit. But she is going through a rough time and told me I love that you love me. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
