everyone knows about it because -- you had your friends break up with him for you. relationships are supposed to be a personal thing. in the future dont let everyone else get involved. then they will not be giving you all of the imput that you are getting right now. tell your friends that you have made your decision and if they like him so much then they can eat lunch with him. then leave it at that.
