I have a 1988 ford f-150 need help with transmission problem?

my in my 88 ford went and its was 1st 2nd drive and overdrive and i could only find one for it out of a 87 fullsize bronco but the bronco only has 1st 2nd and drive on the dash im switching it tomorrow and was wondering if it will be a problem going to shift it when the new gets put in
