KNIFE CARE AND PROTECTION?

I just recently got into knives, sharpening and such. I have a griptilian a very nice fixed ontario and a plithera of other very nice knives I came across. Its quicky becoming an addiction, not to mension I use them ont he job now all the time. I have heard many ways you can protect your knives but they dont seem to work very well. I live in a high humidity area and have quicly developed little red rust spots on my s30v BM griptilian and was wondering what I can do to properly reverse this and how to prevent it.
