What are the necessary tools needed for pinewood derby car?? <3?

It depends on how much money you want to spend. You can go out and buy a nice wood carving set at a craft store. I am a Scout leader and I have seen my scouts use there pocket knives to carve there derby cars. Just make sure the knife is sharp and you carve away from you.
