Do red finches use the same nest more than once?

A little while back, my mom went to go water her spider plant she hung outside, then she made the Discovery that a Red Finch had made a nest in the plant and laid eggs. Of course I would check up on them to see if they were okay (unfortunately one had gotten kicked out of the nest, or died from the thunderstorm we had the night before, either way, it had ped) And one day when I went to go see them, all 3 flew out and landed in a very tall tree! So now my mom wants to get the nest out of her plant, and save it. But would the mom/dad reuse the nest for more babies? The original 3 are now off on their own Thank you! :)
